Project Estimator- roofing *Must have construction roofing experience The Project Estimator position will be working with an established team, traveling to client locations, reviewing prospective projects, preparing, and delivering estimates. This is the ideal role for someone with previous roofing or construction experience who has an outgoing personality or previous sales experience. What you’ll be doing: The Sales/Estimator will be responsible for handling incoming leads, meeting with prospective clients, performing roof inspections, measuring for reroof projects, preparing, and presenting bids in Granby and the surrounding counties. Meeting with HOA’s and Management Companies to secure more reroof and repair opportunities. Responsibilities include: • Communicate and follow up on leads, organize meetings with owners, HOA’s and Management Companies. Provide onsite roof inspections and communicate with potential clients. • Area of concentration will be Grand and Summit Counties plus help with leads in Eagle, Pitkin, and Routt Counties. • Ability to utilize Excel, Word, Adobe, BlueBeam, and Roof CAD to build and calculate proposals. • Selection of prioritizing jobs to be bid. • Prepare and present bid documents. • Read and interpret technical drawings and understand specifications requested. • Communicate and coordinate pertinent job information with Project Managers and Field Superintendents. • Establish and maintain relationships with property managers, property owners, and other potential business sources. • Participate in all conference calls or meetings. Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years’ roofing experience preferred. • Knowledge of roofing methods, materials, and systems is preferred. • Ability to analyze and problem solve. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) • Ability to work well with others. • Must be able to travel and inspect all areas of a jobsite, in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, and/or stretching. • Valid driver’s license in good standing. Compensation: My client offers a comprehensive compensation package including competitive salary, annual bonus potential, health insurance with dental and vision insurance options, PTO, paid Holidays and MORE. The salary for this role is based on experience and could be in the range of $90,000 - $105,000 per year depending in experience. This position does offer Company performance based bonus potential! Temporary housing and moving assistance can be provided during transition period. This position comes with a company vehicle and gas card.
