Air Squared Manufacturing Inc Description: Company: Air Squared Title of Position: Buyer III Position Type: Full time; Exempt Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. Air Squared offers exciting career opportunities working on projects including NASA MOXIE, Leading Electric and Autonomous Vehicle OEM, DOE Clean Energy initiatives ranging from nuclear fusion and the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-e), and other cutting-edge projects. We are looking for a Buyer III (onsite) who has a balance of high-level of strategic planning/implementation and tactical responsibilities to support daily production. Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000 / year, based on qualifications and experience Company Benefits include: Health Insurance through Cigna Dental and Vision Insurance Employer paid Long Term Disability Insurance Employer paid Life Insurance with option for additional Voluntary Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement plan Safety shoe allowance 3-weeks PTO, accrual starting on day one 8 paid holidays plus paid Birthday holiday Parental Leave Company Perks include: Quarterly company lunches Annual company picnic for employees and their families Fun Department activities Company Happy Hours and other fun events throughout the year Casual dress code Employee Referral Program Volunteer opportunities Tuition Reimbursement Buyer III Job Responsibilities: Submit RFQs and generate and maintain Purchase Orders for all material requirements Research and find new suppliers and maintain relationships with current suppliers Build relationships with suppliers to negotiate best pricing and improve supplier on-time delivery Monitor and maintain inventory levels and work with scheduling team to establish improved JIT practices Keep up with market and procurement trends for availability of product and services Work with Sales and Project Management teams on lead times, delivery issues, and onboarding of new projects and customers Coordinate with the Supplier Quality team to process any material issues/concerns Work with Logistics team to arrange transport of goods and ensure on-time delivery Engage with Engineering for drawing changes, routers and BOM changes Generate reports for management related to schedules and costs Actively engage in risk assessment and support Supply Chain Manager in improving supply chain resilience Manage, mentor, and direct other members of the purchasing team to improve overall organization effectiveness Work with upper management to proactively plan future resource needs or identify constraints as necessary Interface with Accounts Payable to handle invoice disputes as needed Travel to supplier locations as necessary Sign off on ECN's when required Develop Power BI reporting, creating dashboards, and other management tools Perform other duties as assigned Buyer III Qualifications : MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field (preferred) Minimum of 5-years' experience in a sourcing and/or purchasing role (required) in an ISO Certified manufacturing environment (preferred) Must be highly proficient in utilizing ERP Systems (Global Shop - preferred, but not required) Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members and suppliers Negotiation Skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the company Must demonstrate strong PC and MS Office suite skills with an intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Excel (required) Ability to create reports, metrics and dashboards to drive continuous improvement using Power BI (preferred) Location: Thornton, Colorado (onsite) How to Apply: 3af69/Air-Squared-Manufacturing-Inc%20 Pay Range: $75,000 - $95,000 / year, based on qualifications and experience For information on Air Squared, visit our website at If you need an accommodation seeking employment with Air Squared, please email or call .
