The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a deep understanding of the dietary requirements specific to senior citizens. Prepare and serve meals that are both flavorful and nutritious, adhering strictly to menu specifications and resident dietary requirements. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to tailor meals that meet the specific dietary needs of residents. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, complying with health and safety regulations. Monitor kitchen inventory and order supplies. Keep records of temperatures, food quantities, and waste as per regulatory requirements. Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes. Good understanding of health and safety rules in the kitchen. Experience with menu planning and diet adjustments. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Efficient time-management skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Food Handler's Certificate required. ServSafe certification preferred.
