Operating Room Technician (ORT) Arvada, CO A highly skilled Operating Room Technician specializing in orthopedics, trauma, robotics, neuro/spine, plastics, ENT, and urology cases is needed for a contract position in Arvada, CO. This role supports a busy surgical unit with 17 OR suites handling an average of 37 cases per dayincluding Level 1 trauma casesrequiring expertise in robotics and trauma care. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills as well as relevant certifications and experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures Assist surgical teams including robotics and trauma surgeries Maintain sterile fields and ensure safety standards are met Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff Participate in unit-specific orientation and ongoing training Support 24/7 shifts including weeknights and holidays with on-call requirements Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) certification required Proven experience in orthopedic trauma, robotics, neuro/spine, and related specialties Ability to respond to on-call assignments within 2 hours Strong communication and teamwork skills Must submit drivers license and be available for orientation week in-state Schedule: 12-hour shifts primarily self-scheduled: 7a-7p or 9a-9p Occasional 10-hour shifts from 7a-5p Call expectations: 3-4 shifts every 6 weeks for weeknights and holidays No floating within the facility except potentially within nearby zones Location:Arvada, CO, offers a balanced lifestyle with convenient access to the bustling Denver metropolitan area and the scenic foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
