Job Description:
UCHealth invites qualified candidates to apply for the position
of Travel RN MICU Nights. This role is critical in providing
top-tier, patient-centered care in our Medical Intensive Care Unit
(MICU) across our various Colorado facilities. Our dedicated travel
nurses help ensure continuity of care during night shifts, managing
complex patient cases in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a leading
healthcare system recognized for its commitment to innovative
treatments and excellence in healthcare services. Provide direct
and comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the
MICU. Monitor complex patient health issues and administer
appropriate treatments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to
develop and implement effective patient care plans. Participate in
patient and family education concerning MICU processes and patient
health management. Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and
standards during night shifts. Document patient care services by
charting in patient records. Proficiency in handling MICU equipment
and technology. Strong analytical skills to assess conditions and
implement appropriate interventions. Capable of managing
high-stress situations with efficiency and composure. Excellent
communication and teamwork skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. ACLS
certification preferred.
