Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN Home
Dialysis to join our team. This position involves providing
specialized nursing care and support for patients receiving
dialysis treatments in their homes across the Colorado area. The
ideal candidate will be a compassionate professional who thrives in
dynamic environments and is committed to delivering exceptional
patient-centered care consistent with our reputation for excellence
in the healthcare community. Travel to patients' homes to
administer dialysis treatments according to physician orders and
established guidelines. Assess and monitor patient before, during,
and after dialysis; report any significant changes in patient
condition to the physician. Provide education and support to
patients and their families regarding the dialysis process and home
care routines. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments,
patient observations, and clinical outcomes. Work collaboratively
with the healthcare team to implement patient care plans
effectively. Ensure the dialysis machine and other medical
equipment are properly set up and maintained. Adhere to all safety
protocols and hygiene standards in accordance with healthcare
regulations and UCHealth's policies. Proficient in operating
dialysis machines and related medical equipment. Strong assessment
and patient monitoring skills. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to educate patients and families on
health care needs. Skilled in documentation and record keeping.
Flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. CPR
certification. Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or
Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred.
