Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room
Registered Nurse (RN OR) to join our team in providing high-quality
care in a state-of-the-art medical environment. As part of

excellence in medical treatment and innovation. Our RN ORs are
essential members of the surgical team, working closely with
surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to
ensure successful surgical outcomes. Assess patients preoperatively
and develop nursing care plans based on their conditions and
operative procedure. Monitor and ensure the sterile environment in
the OR according to healthcare policies. Administer medications and
monitor vital signs during surgery. Assist surgeons during
operations and provide immediate post-operative care. Educate
patients and their families on postoperative home care needs.
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care.
Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized and
detail-oriented Ability to work well under pressure and maintain
professionalism during stressful situations Proficient in using OR
specific tools and technology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
