Job Description:
Join UCHealth, a Colorado-based, nonprofit health system as a
dedicated Registered Nurse in our Medical Surgical ICU. You will be
an integral part of a team committed to delivering top-tier medical
services with a focus on patient-centered care. This position
requires proficient nursing skills, the ability to manage complex
patient situations, and a passion for healthcare excellence in a
high-acuity setting. Provide direct nursing care to patients in a
high-acuity ICU setting. Monitor vital signs, assess patients'
health conditions, and communicate findings to the medical team.
Administer medications, maintain accurate patient records, and
implement patient care plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
health teams to provide optimal care. Educate patients and families
on management of illnesses and post-hospital treatment. Manage
medical emergencies using protocol and teamwork. Strong clinical
skills in a high-acuity healthcare setting Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a
team-oriented environment Proficiency in using electronic health
records and medical software Critical thinking and problem-solving
