Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion,
US:CO:Aurora Department: Echocardiography Work Schedule: Full Time,
80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $43.70 -
$61.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or
remote option Summary: Performs diagnostic echocardiography
procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by a physician.
Coordinates the clinical education, training, and registry
readiness of Echocardiography students, Cardiac Sonographer
Associate-level staff, and new graduate sonographers to ensure
consistent performance and development within the department.
Responsibilities: Performs complete echocardiographic examinations,
ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate documentation for
physician interpretation. Coordinates and oversees clinical
training of Echocardiography students and new graduate
sonographers; evaluates clinical competencies and progress.
Maintains documentation for training, competency assessments, and
registry readiness for uncredentialed or newly credentialed
sonographers. Assists with educational activities, provides
performance feedback, and ensures adherence to departmental
protocols and UCHealth standards. Minimum Requirements: - Graduate
of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR Associate's degree
in allied health OR a Bachelor's degree in any area. - Registered
Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac
Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International
(CCI). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any
relevant life support certification as determined at position
level. - 3 years relevant experience. - Registered Sonographer -
Reg Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Registered Cardiovascular
Sononographer - BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or
the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card
in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through
