Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor
and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12
hours (17:45 - 06:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required
License: Compact RN License or Colorado RN License required
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, C-EFM or Intermediate Fetal
Monitoring required Must-Have: Fast-paced environment experience
Ability to circulate in the OR Experience placing internal monitors
Triage experience Description: This position involves working in a
Labor and Delivery unit that handles an average of 150 births per
month. The nurse will be required to work various days of the week
on a 3x12 shift schedule. There is a weekend requirement of 5-6
weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. First-time travelers are
accepted for this position. The nurse will be responsible for
maintaining a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2. On-call requirements
apply for this role. Additional competencies include the ability to
work in a fast-paced environment. The position may involve handling
multiple tasks efficiently as part of a collaborative team.
Registered Nurses should be prepared to engage with the latest
technology and charting systems. Candidates should have experience
in a dynamic and demanding setting, ideally in Labor and
Delivery.
