Our ethos is an entrepreneurial culture of ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.RESPONSIBILITIESThe Director of Investment Origination will be a key member of the investment team and will lead business development efforts to originate and evaluate solar investment opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

• Identify and source new solar investment opportunities through various channels including developers, brokers, investment banks, and industry contacts.
• Evaluate potential solar investment opportunities by conducting thorough due diligence and financial analysis.
• Work closely with internal teams to assess the feasibility and profitability of solar projects.
• Lead negotiations and structuring of solar investment transactions.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key industry stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new investment opportunities.
  • Proven track record of originating and executing solar investment opportunities.
  • Strong network of industry relationships in the solar and renewable energy space.
  • Deep understanding of solar project development, finance, and valuation.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct due diligence and financial analysis of solar projects.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal structuring skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Driven, self-starter with a strong business development acumen.
  • May require extended hours.
  • Familiarity with Excel and financial modeling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is in the range of $150,000 to $200,000 a year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and SolRiver reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, SolRiver or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
