or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity
is for experienced paraprofessionals to support students in special
education classrooms within Aurora, CO schools. The contract runs
from ASAP through 5/22/26, offering 35-37 hours per week in either
an elementary or middle school setting. This role requires
flexibility as candidates may be reassigned to different school
sites and age groups as needed. Key responsibilities include
assisting students with instructional and personal care needs,
including toileting and diapering support. Punctuality is
essential, with start times of 7:40 AM for elementary and 8:00 AM
for middle school. Reliable personal transportation is required, as
public transit and ride services are not considered dependable for
timely arrival. Required qualifications and experience: - Minimum
of 1 full year working in special education classrooms - Strong
preference for candidates with significant/severe caseload
experience - Ability to flexibly adapt to varied assignments and
age groups - Completion of fingerprinting after job offer
acceptance (any criminal records may disqualify the candidate) -
Two completed and verified Professional RefAssured references
submitted with application (candidates without these references
will not be considered) - Candidates must reside locally or within
reasonable commute distance to Aurora, CO - Compensation must align
with requirements under $25/hour Positions available: - One
Elementary School paraprofessional role - One Middle School
